Nature Play is in Singapore with the support of Chapter Zero.
Chapter Zero Singapore is a social enterprise which supports parents of young children in respectful/mindful and evidence-based parenting. They run workshops for parents and alternative caregivers as well as playgroups for infants and toddlers. As huge advocates of child-directed play, they run Pop-Up Adventure Playgrounds in Singapore for children of all ages. You can follow them here on facebook or join the Respectful/Mindful Parenting Singapore community which they support. www.chapterzero.org

FESTIVE BREAK - last session for 2019 will be Dec 7th, back in March 2020
Where: East Coast - Changi Coast
Nature Play® is... child-led play, for all ages, every week, all weather, all seasons and its free
When: Every second Saturday 9.30am. Please visit the facebook page for fortnightly dates.
With all things child-led, the session ends when it feels right to head home, individuals and smaller groups leave when they are ready. It really depends on everyone's energy levels, weather, mood and if you brought your lunch with you that day.
Meeting Point: Shimano Tool Station at 10 Changi Coast Walk (pictured below), and pin pointed by the YOU ARE HERE on the map.
What to Bring: A small healthy snack to share, a cup for barley water, picnic blanket, sensible walking shoes and weather appropriate clothing (rain poncho's, sun hat's etc).
What to Leave: We LEAVE NO TRACE. Make sure you take your rubbish - including anything biodegradible as it changes the soil pH. Please also ensure that any logs which have been upturned during play are returned to their original position, this is to protect micro habitats and minimize disturbance. Please respect the flora and fauna of this national park.
What to Expect: Our slow walk into the park takes us under lush tropical trees, alongside special insect habitate logs. Regardless of whether the path pushchair-friendly or not, we would recommend using a sling or piggy-back for children not ready to walk themselves. When we reach the base there is overhead shelter to enjoy a seat, and plenty of features to facilitate play, for all ages.
Responsibility: We encourage an atmosphere of free play for the children. However, you will be responsible for your own child/ren, yourself and your belongings. For safety reasons, you are welcome at Nature Play only when accompanied by a child (unless two adults attend for the same child) and when no more than three children are in the care of a single adult.
Toilets: The Civil Service Resort and Country Club (some walk away) is open to the public and there are toilets there.
If you're driving, there is electronic payment parking available at the Civil Service Resort and Country Club.
Taxi: Taxi drop off and collect address is 10 Changi Coast, the main entrance for the Civil Service Resort and Country Club.
Free Shuttle: From Tanah Merah MRT station to the meeting place at the Civil Service Resort and Country Club , leaving at 9.15am and arriving before 9.30am.
